Meridianville, Ala – We’ve all heard before, especially on social media, that just sticking to something for a while will lead you to your fitness goal, but that’s not always the case.

The Rush Hour Fitness Center in Meridianville will help you achieve your goal on time. Emily Morgan, a personal trainer and nutritionist, says setting realistic goals is the key to long-term success.

“I feel that I have achieved what I set out to do, and I want to teach others that it is not as difficult as it seems. It should not be too extreme, ”Morgan told News 19.

Morgan: No matter what level of fitness your body changes, it takes time and patience to set realistic goals is how a person will succeed and continue.

Teaching from her own experiences, Morgan relates how she interacts with her clients and those in the gym: My journey will be realized, ‘OK, well, I won’t grow muscle tomorrow,’ ”Morgan said.

Morgan sometimes starts the hardest part of anyone’s fitness journey by tying those tennis shoes and going to the gym. But, here it is simple with the environment at Rush Hour Fitness, “We all go around and talk, we are friends, we are family.

Everyone has to start somewhere and they feel that one of the biggest blocks of new gym-visitors is that everyone is watching and judging them.

Morgan said, “No one looks at you, everyone here is in their own little world.

But getting started is not the only thing you can do. Again, we ask about emotional eating habits, their bad habits, and what I think of ‘good and bad foods.’ ”

Morgan says she has heard it many times. ‘I don’t know where to start,’ she says.

“Look for a personal trainer or some advice. That’s why I’m here. I’m always answering questions and really helping anyone,” Morgan said.

Morgan is seeing people reach a height that they never thought would be worth it.

“We used to have a woman and she, when she started coming to the gym, had a machine that she couldn’t fix and she can use that machine now because she has lost so much weight. So I find that very powerful and a great example of getting in here and hitting your goals, even though it takes longer than you want it to, ”said Morgan.
